How can I buy Petrichor Wines?

We sell 90% of our wines directly to our Allocation List and, given our small production, there are limited spaces available. Once the Allocation List is filled, new members wishing to secure a space will be put on a waiting list. Please sign up for an allocation and your name will be placed in the order in which it became active.  The remaining wine is sold in small allotments to a handful of restaurants and wine shops across the country.

Is there a tasting room?

We do not have a tasting room due to our small quantities however if you would like to arrange a tasting, you may do so by contacting us by phone or email.

Can we come for a visit?

We are not open to the public. However, with advance notice, we'd be delighted to arrange a tour. Click here for contact information.

How do I pay for my Allocation?

As you sign up on the Allocation List, you will be asked to provide (via secure connection) a valid credit card. You will not be charged for your allocation until it is released. Prior to each release List Members are reminded to update their contact information, shipping address and credit card information on our site to ensure smooth delivery.  We will then charge your credit card for the wines that you have secured through our Allocation List when they are shipped from our warehouse.

Does it cost to join?

There are no fees to join the Allocation List. You only pay for the cost of the wine, shipping fees, and any applicable taxes when the wines are released for shipment.

When do shipments go out?

Shipments will be sent out twice a year. We take into account weather restrictions when timing our wine shipments to protect them from extreme temperatures.

Can I pick up my wine instead of having it shipped

If you would prefer to pick up your wines at the storage facility (located north of Santa Rosa, CA just off of Hwy 101), we can make those arrangements for you.

What if I decide to leave the Allocation List?

An Allocation Member may choose at any time to: purchase only a part of their allocation, refrain from purchasing their current allocation or become an inactive Allocation Member.  Members may also request to be removed from the Allocation List.

How is the Allocation List different from the Petrichor Paperless Post eMailing List?

The Paperless Post e-Mailing List is purely a vehicle for communicating various happenings at Petrichor Vineyards via email. Signing up for the Mailing List solely does not guarantee that there will be wine available to you for purchase. If you would like to ensure that future vintages will be available to you to purchase, it is highly recommended that you sign up for an Allocation.
